How Verbobum works
From sign-up to daily word in four steps
Verbobum is designed to demand little attention: confirm your request, choose your preferences, and receive one word a day in your messages.
1. Confirm your email
Email identifies and recovers your passwordless account. The confirmation link lasts twenty-four hours, and daily delivery begins only after your deliberate confirmation.
2. Choose your preferences
Select French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, or Italian, then choose the allowed topic, delivery time, time zone, and channel. Free uses email or Telegram; paid plans can combine operational channels.
3. Receive the next unseen word
At your chosen local time, Verbobum selects the first word that channel has not received. The message includes a definition and examples. Bounded retries handle temporary provider failures within the same day.
4. Change, pause, or stop
Management links let you change preferences, pause for seven days, or stop indefinitely. Delivery and Stripe billing are separate: pausing messages does not cancel Premium.
